College of Applied Arts Dean's List

The Dean's List honors outstanding academic achievement by undergraduate students in each of the University's Colleges. Undergraduate students must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and earn at least a 3.5 GPA at the end of any Fall or Spring semester in order to receive this distinction. Recipients’ names are placed on a printed list on the third floor of the LBJ Student Center each semester and are invited to attend a reception in their honor.

How to recive your Dean's List Certificate:

 1) Attend the Dean's List Certificate Reception.

The LBJ Student Center will hold a reception for all Dean's List recipients to attend. At this event, you will have the opportunity to receive your Dean's List Certificate, receive a Dean's List t-shirt, and meet the College of Applied Arts Dean.

2) Collect the certificate at the College of Applied Arts Deans office.

After the Dean's List Certificate Reception, we will have all the remaining certificates available for pick up in the College of Applied Arts Deans's office located in the Agricultural Building in suite 300. Please note that if you collect your certificate in the office you will not receive a t-shirt.

More Information Regarding Dean's List Certificates:

We will not have Dean’s List Certificates available for pick up until after the Dean’s List Reception.

We will only provide Dean’s List Certificates to students who are within the College of Applied Arts. All other students will need to speak with the Dean’s Office of their respective colleges to receive information on how to get their certificate.

You are not required to pick up your Dean’s List Certificate. We make the certificates available to honor our students but if you do not wish to receive your certificate you are not required to pick it up.

You do not have to request that your Dean's List Certificate be printed. We print all certificates for the Dean's List Reception and we will have them available for pick up after the reception.

Make sure to monitor your TXST email for updates and announcements about your certificate.
