2022 Presidential Awards

Congratulations to Drs. Ryan Anderson and Catherine Cherrstrom for receiving 2022 Presidential Awards for Excellence.

Dr. Ryan Anderson, received the Presidential Award for Excellence in Scholarly/Creative Activities. Dr. Anderson's research interests include agricultural education teacher preparation, STEM in agricultural education, and teaching & learning of agricultural mechanics. Dr. Anderson joined the Department of Agricultural Sciences in 2019.

Dr. Catherine Cherrstrom received the Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching and has taught in the Department of Organization, Workforce, and Leadership Studies since 2015. Before joining Texas State University, Dr. Cherrstrom had 25 years of experience leading and managing teams in the financial services industry, most recently as Senior Vice President and Business Banking Executive, and extensive non-profit and community service.
