Interior Design
As part of their People, Environment and Behavior class, nine Fall 2022 interior design sophomores and juniors from the School of Family and Consumer Sciences were tasked with designing a new wayfinding and branding experience for shoppers at the University bookstore. For their final presentation, they set up their design proposal posters in the HUB at LBJ, and asked students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors about their impressions. Teams provided participants with a green dot to vote for their favorite ideas. This process is used in user experience research with end-users throughout the industry.
